A News From SYCI…

It all started from yesterday midnight when my successor, President of I-Tribe (IT Course Club) aka Law Yik Yang messaged me on MSN to ask me call him this afternoon at 1.30pm (August, 21st 2008) as he got something for me. He said I will not regret for making that call and before we end, I reminded him to miss-call me in case I forgotten or missed the time.

Later I received his miss-call at 1.15pm while I’m having lunch with my colleagues at Fair Wood franchise nearby our office at Sheung Wan. I made my excuse and called him, that bugger purposely make me call him to tell me that call him at 2.30pm instead of 1.30pm. ZZzzz, I just asked him to miss-call me when it is ready.

Later at 2.30pm being curious and wondering what’s on after that my lecturer, Kai Ma messaged me on MSN earlier the day which she’s hinting some sort of news announcement, so I just make my call to him. Instead of himself, Kai Ma picked up the call and she announced me the news in advance that… she’s QUITTING SYCI and her last day will be today (August, 22nd 2008). She told me she’s helping out with her husband’s business. Honestly, I didn’t feel surprise at all. There is always a reason behind and she’s quitting for good. Aiseh man, definitely no one quitting for bad, isn’t? LoL

Having a short conversation with her and I just wish her good luck and all da best. Will be looking for her to yum cha for catching up later when I’m back to Malaysia. Most of my juniors surprised and quite a number of messages on MSN asking what’s my opinion or comment. What I can say is, definitely we miss a good lecturer who cares us like her children and can unite us as a family.

Least but not, she’s still around and just a simple buzz will do to get her out for meet up. So cheer up mates. I know it is sad for such farewell but that doesn’t mean the end. I went thru once an emotional moment when my ex-lecturer, Mr. HHH leaving us as well while I’m still at the college and experiencing some depressed times.

Kai ma suddenly make announcement at the meeting about she quiting us tomorrow. I can’t accept this case so sudden. If she announce before 1,2 week then I think I will can accept and will not sad until cry.

Take it easy. She made it short because not to trouble herself. She’s also feel sad leaving us actually. She wished to finish her days in SYCI happily than being in moody atmosphere if announced earlier.

I agree with your explain. She wished has a very goodliness memory from she start until the last day she at the SYCI with us.I think she very wished us will not crying in front with her at the farewell. I has saw Kai Ma feel sad but she still smile with us.She heart very ache and grieved.
